Renovation of an old master building to remodel it into the new headquarters of the Reyl Bank. To adhere to the qualities of a traditional bank with innovative, daring, and welcoming expertise, we wanted to provide a privileged space for listening. Our guiding theme has been the use of noble materials, to play on their textures, the use of rounded shapes, and to merge ancient craftsmanship with contemporary design to achieve enduring elegance for an authentic and bold setting. From textured Italian marble to Japanese chairs, through the creations of French and Swiss artisan carpenters, to conclude with Mexican wall art, this interior design is the reflection of an integrated and multicultural world. The entrance hall, with its disproportionate dimensions, provided a magnificent opportunity to create a spectacular entrance. This narrow and very high-ceilinged room was made warmer and more welcoming by rounding the corners. The stone parquet, with its slats slightly curved on the sides, offers a discreet and warm originality. The chevron-laid marble planks are a modern interpretation of the classic wooden floor used in noble master houses.
